ECT: a winning team at the rugby World Cup

ECT Charity is a leading community transport provider, delivering safe, affordable, accessible and innovative community transport for individuals and groups across the UK

THE TASK

As part of its vision for inclusion and accessibility for all members of our communities, whatever their transport needs, ECT Charity has provided transport at major sporting events over the last few years. At the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics, at the 2014 Invictus Games, and most recently, at the 2015 Rugby World Cup, helping spectators with reduced mobility enjoy the games. To showcase the success we were asked to produce a publication that would highlight ECT’s efficient work as well as the impact it had on thousands of spectators.

OUR SOLUTION

Our editorial and design teams worked together to develop a publication that would sit well alongside other ECT Charity branded materials, whilst also showcasing that this was a special project for the organisation. We used the branding in terms of logos, fonts and imagery but developed a clean look with a silver finish to represent the sporting element of the event. Strong statistics were combined with emotional stories of gratitude from passengers as well as personal highlights from drivers, and these were presented through infographics, full bleed photography and pull-out quotes. The result was a well-received publication for the organisation to share both internally as well as externally, showcasing a successful event with happy drivers and happy passengers!
